Each year we host an Athletics Carnival that is held at the South Australian Athletics Stadium during the day. This carnival is open to all Catholic Schools in South Australia and selected Non-Catholic Schools that are Associate Members of SACSSGSA.
The carnival consists of the following age divisions:
Schools are divided into "A" and "B" grades, which compete on the same day. There is a trophy for the School with the most aggregate points at the end of the carnival for each age division and grade, as well as a trophy for the overall winner.
One of the highlights of the day is the final event which is the running of the 100 metre Champions Race. This race is made up of the fastest eight competitors across the day in the 100 metre Sprint - then they compete against each other for the final award.
